Club Meetings

We are a homebrew club centered in Sussex County, New Jersey. We meet to promote our hobby, share our knowledge of brewing, coordinate beer events, and enjoy each other's beer, cider, mead, and other feremented beverages. We welcome any brewers (21 and older) to join us.

We meet on the first Friday of every month at various locations including the Sussex County Fairgrounds, the Mohawk House, and local Breweries. Feel free to bring a friend, and bring homebrew if you have some to share. Find upcoming dates and locations (and Style of the Month) here. Membership ($24/year) is not necessary to attend meetings, but is required for some special events and perks.

NJ State Fair Homebrew Competition

SCUBA hosts the annual New Jersey State Fair Homebrew Competition, the state’s longest running American Homebrewers Association (AHA) / Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) sanctioned Beer/Mead/Cider Competition.

Have you ever dreamed of seeing your Homebrew sporting a blue ribbon, up on the podium alongside New Jersey's tastiest tomato, most pristine pumkin pie, handsomest heifer, speediest sheep shearer, most exquisite quilt, and beardiest lumberjack? It's time to enter the NJ State Fair Homebrew Competition!

We participate in annual events with other local clubs and breweries, including:
